Dennis E. Venvertloh, CPA, CEO

Dennis is a life long resident of Quincy, IL. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Quincy University and is certified as a public accountant. He has worked in public accounting and banking prior to co-founding the Company in 1994 with his wife, Kathy.

He serves as Chief Executive Officer and oversees the Company’s finance, accounting, compliance, human resource and reimbursement operations. Dennis currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Bank of Quincy, Past President and member of the Board of Directors of Quincy Notre Dame High School, a member of the Board of Directors of the Quincy Notre Dame Foundation and a Commissioner of the Adams County Sheriff’s Merit Board.

Shari Jones, MSPT, COO

Shari has worked for First Choice Physical Therapy for 9 years and became a partner in March of 2005. Shari earned her Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Washington University of Medicine in 1995. She has practiced physical therapy for 18 years, beginning first as a Physical Therapist Assistant from SIU-Carbondale

Shari has worked in several different treatment settings during her years working in physical therapy. She has experience working with pediatrics, urinary incontinence/Women’s Health Issues, pregnancy and postpartum, musculoskeletal, neurological conditions, and geriatrics to name a few. Shari is certified as a Pediatric Specialist through Child and Family Connections, Certified by the Department of Specialized Care for Children, a Certified Instructor for Exercise During Pregnancy, and a Certified Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She is a member of the APTA’s section on Pediatrics and Women’s Health and a member of Quincy Service League.

Shari also serves on the board for West Central Illinois Center for Independent Living. She holds licenses in Illinois and Missouri. Shari was born and raised in Quincy and has made her home here. Her hobbies include sports, reading, and spending time with her husband, Scott, and their two boys, Logan and Devin.

Brian McKinney, MPT

Brian became a partner in First Choice Physical Therapy of Quincy in August of 2006. Brian earned his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio. Brian is licensed in Illinois and Missouri and is currently a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He has been practicing in the Quincy area for the past 10 years.

Brian specializes in outpatient orthopedic care with a special interest in neck and back care, sports medicine, and total joint replacements. His clinical experience includes a strong manual therapy background with spinal dysfunctions, sports medicine related injuries and general orthopedics. Brian resides in Palmyra, Missouri with his wife, Carrie, and their three children, Ragar, Rylie, and Ryan.

Bryan Albright, PT, OCS

Bryan became a partner in First Choice Physical Therapy of Hannibal, MO in August of 2006. Bryan graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1990 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physical Therapy. In 1999 he became a board certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy- the only board certified orthopedic physical therapist in the Hannibal-Quincy area. Bryan has extensive experience in spine, sports, hand, industrial medicine and general orthopedic physical therapy.

Prior to his work with Hannibal Regional Hospital he was the clinic coordinator at Health South Rehabilitation in Jefferson City, MO. He currently serves as a Hannibal Park Board member and a committee member for Friends of Hannibal Parks and Trails. Bryan resides in Hannibal, MO, with his wife, Alisha, and their three children, Emily, Adam, and Sophie.
